Graduate of the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee Reserve Police Academy, Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts ACO Academy, and the New England Animal Control/Humane Academy at the University of New Hampshire. Sworn as a deputy sheriff in two counties and a special police officer. Has worked in the public safety field for 20 years.
Animal Control Officer for the Town of Watertown for the past nine years. Graduate of the Animal Control Officers Association of Massachusetts Academy and National Animal Care & Control Association Training Academy. Previous employment as veterinary assistant supervisor at Fresh Pond Animal Hospital, and as coordinator of the Canine Reproductive Services Department at Synbiotics, then located in San Diego. Graduate of Simmons College. Current graduate student in the University of Florida’s veterinary forensics program.
